Join acclaimed singer and musician John Dady and friends for a rousing performance that melds American Folk Roots and Irish Traditional influences.
The Dady Brothers' legacy continues:
The day after my brother died, I thought about taking a couple of months off from the music. That thought didn't last long. I quickly realized that the music was my refuge. I also knew that Joe would want me to continue playing. It's what we've done all our lives.
I think of Joe every waking minute and feel him with me in the music. I'm pleased to be playing with a brilliant young musician, John Ryan, who excels on tin whistle and button accordion.. He has been accompanying me for a number of gigs since Joe became too ill to perform.
Together, we look forward to a special show for Joe's and my Livingston County friends.
Founded in 2011, Sláinte (slahn-chə) Irish Dance has already grown tremendously on the SUNY Geneseo campus, as well as in the Geneseo Community. The dancers are varied in level, including several Regional, National, and World Champion dancers.
